Memory Lab - Data Business
Memory Lab is a new research environment specialising in data processing in Mikkeli. Memory Lab serves memory organisations already operating in the area. At the same time, it will create an innovative platform for the long-term processing of stored data and the provision of commercial services in new industries. The aim is to strengthen cooperation, promote new innovations and commercialise concepts.
Memory Labia is developed by Digitalia, a joint research centre of the South East Finland University of Applied Sciences, the University of Helsinki and the National Library. Memory Lab is based on a long-term, unique knowledge of archiving, digitisation, usability and data management in Memory Campus.
